Review: LUSH American Pie Shower Jelly

LUSH's American Cream conditioner is my favourite scent in the entire world. If I was left alone with a bottle and no adult supervision, I'd probably eat it, that's how delicious it is. So when I saw the LUSH Kitchen had created a batch of shower jellies with the same gorgeous scent, I had to snap one up ASAP.

What I Got For My 19th Birthday

It's been a busy couple of weeks, but I've finally found time to type up this little post on what I got for my birthday this year!

It has genuinely been one of the best birthdays I have ever had as I spent it with some amazing people and received loads of absolutely gorgeous presents.

Very Superstitious - LUSH Halloween 2016

On Saturday I had the pleasure of attending the #MiracleOnFargate Christmas event at LUSH Sheffield. Whilst the event was to showcase the new Christmas range, we also were also given demos of the lovely Halloween goodies which were also released recently. Due to this, I have decided to split up the details of the event into two posts, with this first post being a look at the spooktacular Halloween treats that LUSH has in store for us this year.

Review: LUSH American Cream Conditioner

Conditioner is something I've never really been fussy about, mainly using whatever my mum had bought that week. However since I've had my hair cut shorter, keeping it in good, soft condition has become my top priority.

When I did my awesome LUSH haul, I decided treating myself to some good conditioner would definitely be worth my while. The conditioner I chose was American Cream - a milkshake thick, sweet smelling delight that quickly became my favourite LUSH product ever.

Review: LUSH Hair Custard

I recently did a huge £45 LUSH haul, with Hair Custard being the product voted for on Twitter to have the first, full review. I'm actually really glad this product was chosen first, as I have some things to say about it which I felt were better to just get out of the way rather than leave until the last review.

Hair Custard is described as an "eggs-clusive Oxford Street hair dressing for fighting static and adding moisture and shine" with an absolutely dreamy scent. But in this case, is the proof really in the pudding? *cringe*

A £45 LUSH Haul

Oops, I did it again. I slipped and accidentally splurged £45 on some lovely LUSH goodies. I didn't even have a legit reason to in all honesty (my last big haul was due to my fabulous A Level results) but that's never stopped me before *wink*.

This time I was simply looking to buy some more solid shampoo and ended up being enticed in by the rest of the website. I did manage to order the solid shampoo I was after, but also topped up my basket with conditioner, hair 'custard' (whaaa?) solid deodorant and some dusting powder. Bang tidy.

Review: LUSH Cup O' Coffee Face & Body Mask

It's about time I reviewed LUSH's cult classic Cup O' Coffee face and body mask as it's a product I've come to use more and more regularly since first purchasing it back in May.

Before I start on the review, can we all just appreciate how the above picture is absolute LUSH porn. Just look at that little bubble. It looks so good, it makes me want to scoop it out and cover my face with it. Luckily that's what you're supposed to do, so I don't seem too weird for saying that.

LUSH Ethics #HappyAndHandmade Blogger Event

Last night was a huge first for me - I went to my first ever blog event! To make it even better it was with my absolute favourite skincare brand, LUSH.

I was so excited when I received an invite to the event at the LUSH store in Sheffield, and rightly so, I had an amazing time.

Review: LUSH Breath Of Fresh Air Toner Water

LUSH Breath Of Fresh Air Review Dainty AliceWhen my Body Shop seaweed toner ran out, I thought it was time to replace it with a toner from LUSH. I was recommended the Breath Of Fresh Air toner in-store as the best for reducing redness, which is something my skin has always struggled with.

After being faithful to the Body Shop for almost 3 years, trying a new toner is a big step for me.

Review: LUSH Aqua Marina

Hello my lovelies. I seem to be making LUSH skincare reviews a frequent thing with my Ocean Salt review last week and my Angels on Bare Skin review the week before, but this is only due to the sheer amount of gorgeous LUSH products that I own!

The focus of today's review is Aqua Marina, which is a fresh face and body cleanser suitable for most skin types, especially oily and sensitive skin.

Review: Too Faced Sweetheart Beads

Hello my lovelies! As mentioned in my Natural and Boudoir Eyes palettes post, I am recently becoming more and more obsessed with the brand Too Faced. I don't know whether its the pretty pink and gold packaging, the creamy formulas, or the fact that it's the cutest brand in the world, but I am near enough smitten! I spend hours on their website, making lists of all the pretty products I have my eye on, then spend even longer on Depop and eBay, trying to score them for as cheaply as possibly.

I managed to get these lovely Sweetheart Beads for £18 off eBay, as opposed to the RRP of £26 from Debenhams and have decided to share my first impressions of this product with you all today.

Review: LUSH Ocean Salt

Hello lovelies! I know I only did another review yesterday, but I suddenly realised that I'd never actually done a review on LUSH's wonderful Ocean Salt cleanser and scrub, and I decided to rectify that as quickly as I could.

Only last week I mentioned in my LUSH Mini-Haul that Ocean Salt was fast becoming a staple in my morning routine, however saying that I'd found myself neglecting it recently in favour of my St Ives Invigorating Apricot scrub. Well I decided to plump for it again yesterday morning, and it inspired me to write this review.

Review: LUSH Angels On Bare Skin

I honestly don't think it's possible for a girl to ever have enough products from LUSH without wanting more as soon as they step foot in the dreamy, soap-scented shop. I myself am a complete obsessive over LUSH's wonderful cleansers and scrubs, already owning Aquamarina and Ocean Salt, which are fast becoming a solid staple in my morning cleansing routine. I do however still long for the likes of Cup 'O Coffee and Ultrabland, the highly coveted gods of the skincare world.

My first mini-haul however consists of a super-secret Kitchen item (see if you can guess! All will be revealed at the end!) and a cleanser I thought I would never buy, Angels on Bare Skin. When sampling it in-store, I was never drawn to the chunky texture and chose other, citrus-flavoured products over its lavender scent. What swayed me was hearing my friend praising the cleanser for its ability to even out skintone, which made me think to myself "It never hurts to try."
